Why was the site last updated in 2020? And why aren’t there any support managers online to answer all these questions?

Customer support

After posting the project, I got plenty of bids from writers and could chat with them directly. Otherwise, customer support is pretty much absent. The only way to get in touch is via a contact form, and the support managers are ‘fastest from 9am-6pm (Mon-Thurs).’ Knowing my luck, I missed this window and had to wait a day for a reply.

My experience

I wanted to start my HomeworkForYou review on a positive note, but I hated the experience from start to finish. I couldn’t find a single redeemable quality about this website, however harsh it may sound.

Order form

It seems so simple at first. Sum up your assignment in two words, set the deadline and decide how much you’re willing to pay. Then, of course, you’ll need to add more details, like your class and instructions. After that, the bidding starts, and you get to choose among a dozen automated messages that have nothing to do with your paper. I’ve yet to find an essay mill that handles the bidding process well, and HomeworkForYou is no exception.

Fun fact: I got over 30 automated emails from HomeworkForYou within an hour of placing the order.

Discounts and pricing

I have no idea what the minimum and maximum rates are. I decided to stay on the safe side and ordered a 3-page essay for $30, and I got over a dozen bids in 10 minutes. I’m guessing I could have offered less money. On the other hand, if I’d offered to pay $50, I could have gotten even more bids, but then I’d have to waste time going through them. I guess you could delete your first order and go lower if you want to save, but I’d recommend skipping this site altogether.

Revisions

I went through the Terms a couple of times, but I didn’t find any mention of revisions. The refund policy is there, but there’s a 9% fee for dispute mediation, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get your money back.

Final quality

I can ignore a couple of missing commas or typos, but I can’t settle for a paper that has nothing to do with the topic I’ve chosen. I also can’t ignore the sheer lack of credible references and proper in-text citations. And I will definitely not stand for plagiarism that results from the overuse of quotes without proper referencing. Considering this fiasco, I wonder where all the negative HomeworkForYou reviews are.

Writer’s proficiency

Whatever you call homeworkforyou.com, legit writing company it is not. I could have chosen the worst of their writers, but I doubt the bidding process is real. For all I know, they are a bunch of third-world college dropouts who studied English by watching Gilmore Girls. And they didn’t do a very good job of it. I should have left the moment I saw their bids, but I had to go through with it.

People talking

As I’ve mentioned, Homework For You reviews are hard to come by. There’s nothing on the website, SiteJabber and Trustpilot. HomeworkForYou Reddit search was a no-go too. The only place I could find a review was ScamFighter, and it mirrored my experience.

Loyalty program

I couldn’t find one. But there’s a referral program, even if it’s super stingy. For every friend you refer, you get only $5 to your balance and no way to cash in your earnings. Besides, the bonus is a one-time deal, and it’s valid for 12 months only. Could they be more generous?
